Ramayana Tour - 09N/10D: -

Day 1: Airport - Negombo: -Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel at Negombo. Negombo is one of the famous cities in Srilanka. It is very famous for sea foods, hotel, grand restaurants, and jewellery shops. Overnight stay at Golden Hotel.

Day 2: Negombo – Munneswaram – Adams’ Bridge - Jaffna: Soon after your breakfast you will take to Anuradhapura. On the way to Anuradhapuram, visit Muneeswaram temple. Muneeswaram temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temple at Srilanka. This temple dates back to 1000CE. This temple has its link with the great Epic Ramayana, this is the place where Lord Rama sought the blessings of Lord Shiva. Lunch from Outside Restaurant. You can also witness the Adam’s bridge, which is a marvel to till date. It is believed that Lord Rama along with his Ape army built this bride connecting India and Srilanka. Later proceed to Jaffna. Jaffna is yet another fascinating tourist destination at Srilanka. Finally you will be taken to the hotel, dinner and Overnight stay at Tilko Hotel- Jaffna

Day 3: Jaffna city tour – Nagapeepa ,Puttur: - Once you had your breakfast you will be taken on a Jaffna city tour, where you can visit the Nagadeepa and Nilaveli Giant well in Puttar Sugriva. The place got its name Nagadeepa, because this is the spot where the Nada maiden Surasa Devi tested Hanuman during his search of Sita devi. After this you will be taken to Nilwari, You can have lunch from the outside restaurant. Nilawari is located in Puttur 14 km northeast of Jaffna town. Nilawari is one of the sought after pilgrimage destination among Ramayana trail pilgrims. A giant well with infinite depth is the highlight of this place. It is believed that Lord Rama shot an arrow at this place to satisfy the thirst of his army. From that day on and to the day of doom this well will never drain. Next destination is Nallur Kandaswamy temple, one of the most noteworthy temples in Jaffna district. The primary deity in this temple is Lord Muruga in the form of Sacred Vel. This temple is visited by millions of devotees visit this temple every year. Finally visit Jaffna fort. This fort is built by Portuguese in the year 1618. This magnificent fort is located near Karaiyur. This fort is famous for the Virgin Mary church inside the premise. Hence the fort is also known as Our Lady of Miracles of Jafanapatão. Day 4: Jaffna to Trincomalee: - Soon after the breakfast, you will be taken to Trincomalee. Trincomalee is a major sea port in Srilanka. This place consists of Tamil speaking community for about two millennia. Lunch is from outside Restaurant. Thiru Koneshwaram, is a rocky paradise built by Saint Agasthiyar on the instruction of Lord Shiva. This is the very place where Lord Rama sought the redemption from Lord Shiva for Killing Ravana who was a Brahmin. Later move on to Kanniya Spring, which is a famous hot water well in Srilanka. There are about seven springs each ranging from 3-4 depth and the temperature varies from one spring to other. Dinner and Overnight stay at Sea Lotus Park Hotel – Trincomalee

Day 5: Trincomalee - Kandy: -Soon after your breakfast you will be taken to Kandy en route Matale- Spice garden. Kandy is a hill capital, which was once a commercial and administrative hub of Srilanka rulers. Now Kandy has come under world heritage site. It has lots of Buddhist monasteries, temples and other relics worth seeing. Have lunch in the outside restaurant. After this proceed to Temple of Tooth. Temple of Tooth is the most sacred Buddhist onument in Srilanka. This sacred temple was built in the year 4th century. This temple has the tooth of Lord Buddha, which is considered to be priceless and most sacred. In the evening you can enjoy the varied cultural retreat at Kandy cultural centre. Both the traditional and modern art forms of Srilanka are showcased to the viewers.

Day 6: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya: -After Breakfast at the Hotel, Will Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, En-Route Visit to Ramboda Hanumaji temple. After you finish your breakfast, you will be taken to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit to Ramboda Hanumanji temple. Ramboda Hanuman ji temple has 16 feet high Hanuman statue to honor him for his bravery and dedication to Lord Rama. Lunch from Outside Restaurant. After having lunch proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya, is a hill station in Srilanka, known for its verdant jungles, picturesque plains, and perfect ambiance. It is also known as the city of light. Dinner and Overnight stay at Stamford Hotel

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya: -Once you finish of your dinner you will be taken for Nuwara Eliya City Tour. Divurumpola is the place where Sita underwent fire ordeal, in order to prove her Chasity. But the Fire lord leave her untouched and proved her Chasity to the world. Thus this place became very popular among oath takers. After this proceed to Sita Amman temple, located in-between, the highland village Sita Eliya and the Hakgala Botanical Gardens. This temple is very popular among Ramayana trail pilgrims. Because this is the place where Sita Devi was held captive by Ravana. The miraculous part of this hill is the stream that follows besides it, the temple is believed to have the foot prints of Lord Hanuman. Lunch from Outside Restaurant. In the afternoon visit Nuwara Eliya and the Gayathri Pedam. Dinner and Overnight stay at Stamford Star

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya-Kataragama-Hikkaduwa: -Soon after your breakfast, proceed to Hikkaduwa via Kataragama. On the way visit Kataragama Temple. Kataragama is the top most pilgrimage site for Buddhists, Hindus, and Veda people of Srilanka, this town has Ruhunu Maha Kataragama devalaya, which is dedicated to Lord Muruga. After this you will be taken to Hikkaduwa a beautiful coastal town. This coastal town is a great recreational spot and a heaven for those love to do water sports. This town is even more adorned with the coral sanctuary with naturally formed coral reefs. Dinner and Overnight stay at Lanka Super Corals

Day 9: Hikkaduwa – Colombo: -On this day you will be taken to Colombo via Seenigama. Seenigama is a serene village known for beach resort for coral reef snorkeling. This place also consists of a hoary temple. Lunch at an outside restaurant. After this take a city tour and visit Panchamuganjiar Kovil. Finally in the evening proceed to Colombo, where you will be taken for a half day city tour. In this evening you can go for shopping, and sightseeing. In Colombo you can see a 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar, Hindu and Buddhist temples, the Colombo museum, and the Bandaranaike Memorial National Conference. Hall (BMICH). Day 10: Colombo – Airport: -After your breakfast you will be dropped at the airport depending on your flight schedule. Leave Srilanka with happy memories.
